This place is 60 Kms from Bangalore. Its close to Kolar. This was a night trek organized by Bangalore mountaineering club (BMC) . I registered for it a day before the trek with 8 of my friends.Package cost -950 INR per person. We started from Tin factory where we met 60 odd people who were going to trek with us. We were all very excited as it was our first night trek. We reached Antaragange around midnight. They distributed sleeping bags and we started walking. First, it wasn't much like a trek . We were climbing stairs and it started to rain! We were told to bring ponchos and torches beforehand, so it wasn't much of a problem until we reached a small temple. After the temple, the trek started!
It was getting slippery as time passed and the rain was not stopping at all! after an hour and a half, we reached the entrance of a cave and rested for a while there. We left our sleeping bags and back packs at the entrance of the cave and then started the best part of the trip...CAVE EXPLORING. Spelunking started around 3 a.m, we were crawling, jumping and rolling while exploring.

We got out of the cave at 4 a.m and took our sleeping bags and left for the peak. By then the rains had stopped, and they made a campfire at the topmost point. It was very cold up there. My group managed to find a place to lie down and by then it was 5 a.m

None of us slept because it was already time for sunrise!

We were there till 6.30 a.m to see the spectacular sun rising...it was amazing! Then we started to trek down around 6.45 a.m and reached the bus by 7.30 a.m. Then they took us to a restaurant for breakfast(complimentary with the package). This was an EPIC night trek!!
