Aquaria KLCC



Aquaria KLCC in Kuala Lumpur, is the largest aquarium in the world. There are over 150 species of marine life and other attractions include tiger sharks, sea snakes, blue rays, coral fish, seahorses, giant groupers, gar fish in big tanks, with gallons of water make it one of the country’s foremost sightseeing attractions. This underwater world is a must and huge attraction for kids.


Petrosains



Petrosains in Kuala Lumpur is an interactive science discovery center and one of the biggest attractions for kids. Kids can spend some few hours here involving themselves in some fun-filled activities. It is dedicated to the field of Petroleum science and technology with some fun and entertainment. Here it is easy to navigate through a collection of everything from space age exhibits to fossils. This science museum has been very popular among kids. It has 3D cinemas, theatre, Music & Art Zone, The Molecule Nano world showcasing 3D movies, Dark ride takes you right through the forests of Malaysia and deep into the sea, Sparkz zone and Exit ride.


Sunway Lagoon



Sunway Lagoon is a Theme Park in Petaling Jaya in Kuala Lumpur which is one of the major attractions for Kids. There are watery rides and plenty of dry land activities that Kids can never get bored of. Water slides, river ride, a surf beach, a wave pool, a 360° revolving pirate ship and much more for Kids. It has sections like the Water park, Scream Park, Amusement Park, Extreme Park and Wildlife Park.


Kidzania



Kidzania is an educational entertainment center designed to give kids a look and feel of professional jobs. It is about teaching kids different career choices. It is made like an indoor city with miniature replicas of office buildings and cars. There is an airport-style entrance; children can perform over 90 different jobs including surgeon, judge, mechanic and hairdresser and many more. Kids can perform numerous activities while pretending to be a job professional.


Kuala Lumpur Zoo and Aquarium



Kuala Lumpur Zoo and Aquarium is located around a central lake and houses more than 5000 specimens from 476 species of mammals, birds, reptiles and fish from Asia and Africa. Also known as the Zoo Negara Malaysia, the wildlife sanctuary houses a forest, lake and 16 animal exhibits. It takes nearly three hours to explore the Zoo in its entirety. The tram rides are available to visitors as well. Zoo’s most popular sections include The Reptile Park, Lake Birds, Malaysian Elephants and Tunku Abdul Rahman Aquarium situated within the Zoo.


Aircraft Museum



The Royal Malaysian Air Force Museum has 20 aircrafts on display and the good thing is climbing into one isn’t prohibited. A visit to the museum is fairly inexpensive and you can easily explore the museum within a couple of hours. November to March can be a good time to visit, as it gets extremely hot in the afternoon.


National Science Center



A great combination of education and fun, the National Science Center in Kuala Lumpur can be a great place to visit for your kids. The signage in the center is in English, and the staff makes it a point to educate visitors about the various exhibits. Other key attractions at the center include cafeteria and a multi-purpose hall.


Sabah Indoor Climbing Center



Sabah Indoor Climbing Center is in the Likas Sports Complex. The center is well-established and known all over for its facilities. The center has more than 15 rope walls and also offers facilities for non-climbing participants. The outdoor bowling arena and skateboarding park are other attractions at the Sabah Indoor Climbing Center.


KL Lake Gardens



Kuala Lumpur has a number of outdoor gardens and parks, and KL Lake Gardens are among the finest the capital of Malaysia has to offer. Orchid gardens, a National Mosque, and a jogging track will keep your kids occupied for the course.
