We started our Journey from Faridabad via Gurgaon road in Feburary and reached Jaipur, Capital of Rajasthan called pink city in the early afternoon. With the help of guide we went to see  amazing Hawa Mahal, with stone-carved screens which was built by Maharaja Partap Singh to enable women of the royal to observe street life.


Amber fort , constructed of red stone and marbel with Maota Lake which makes it foreground, the interior carving of wall and ceilings is just amazing. 

Magnificient Jantar Mantar which in sanskrit means magical instrument, is combination of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments and City Palace and other historical important places of Rajput gloroius era.


In late evening we returned back to our hotel, and in next morning we started our journey forward to Jodhpur by Ahmedabad  highway.

Jodhpur earlier known as Marwar, the capital of Rajput rulers. Jodhpur is famous worldwide for its coloured turbans, called "Safa". Local people like brilliant colours, so are their dresses and turbans. Most of the local female wears colorful Bangles.

In Meals Rajasthani thali, Chapattis made of maize flour and that of wheat flour , along with no.of vegetables, kachori, spices, salad and sauces is served.

Jodhpur is second biggest city in Rajasthan, having blue coloured buildings in large extents. 

Early afternoon reached Jodhpur, went straight to Sachdeva Palace. After refreshing and taking lunch, we with the help of guide visited Mehrangarh Fort which is one of the largest Fort in India situated 410 feet above the city.

Inside Museum has historical important collections of Rajput and Mughal arts. On side of Fort, ride called Jodhpur flying fox is quite popular for adventure lovers.

Jaswant- thada, which is an empty tomb made by marble, lattice screens was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur state in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh second.  Peace loving people do rest here.


Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park,  rock,  plants from desserts can be seen all along the walking trail in 70 hectars of wasteland all in vicinity of fort.

Clock Tower and old city markets located in the heart of city, still working near Sadar market, looks like an village Bazar. It is chaotic and colourful and sells handicrafts, spices, fabrics and almost everything.

Marvel Umaid Bhavan , royal family of Jodhpur still occupies a section of it and the rest has been converted into luxurious palace hotel.

After having our meals at the hotel, spend the night there. Next morning after finishing breakfast started our way back journey to home and on way went to Ajmer Shrief, took blessings and reached home safely in evening.
