This temple is pure bliss. The temple is dedicated to Bal Krishna swaroop & the idol is in standing position, there is a diamond at the Lord's chin which is captivating & shines like a star. You experience God is around & sure to be blessed & feel positive changes in life after the visit, I have taken darshan of all the 7 sama in a day. If females want to take a Pradakshina during Mangala darshan, don't forget to wear a saree, there is huge rush all around the year, but everything is worth it for the divine feeling.

Food in Nathdwara is delicious, without onion garlic especially made available for Vaishnavas in most restaurants. Local tip- don't miss the special Pudina Tea with ginger in Srinathji and Amazing Khaman dhokla. Best place for shopping of Meenakari jewellery too.

Nearest railway station for Nathdwara is Maavli, cabs are available at the station to ply to Nathdwara. Nearest airport being Udaipur. Since the darshan is available throughout the day every 2 hours interval, the hotel stay preferably near the temple is convenient. To have an assured booking with choice of hotel & room, it is advisable to book online few days before the travel with various hotels owned by Nathdwara Temple board itself. I always stay at Damodar Dham Hotel, it is superb.

There are also serene & scenic places to visit around like Lalbaugh, Ganesh Tekri, Kankroli Dwarkadish temple which has a beautiful lake. Plan Udaipur trip along with this Pilgrimage trip, which has beautiful palaces, lakes & Saheli baugh, also witness Haldighati museum of King Maharana Pratap & scenic picnic spots enroute Shrinathji to Udaipur.
